Amy Acton: The Phoenix Society
Amy Acton, RN, BSN is the Executive Director of The Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors, a resource for anyone that has been affected by the devastation of burn injuries. Her passion for burn survivor support and advocacy is in part due to her own experience as a burn survivor and her years as a Burn Nurse.

Barb Guerra: Fitness Unarmed
"I am Barb Guerra. I have been competing in fitness since 2003, and loving almost every minute of it! I am a little different than most competitors because I don't have arms. I lost them in an electrical accident when I was 2 1/2 years old. I've had to overcome, but I still choose to be the best I can be with what I've got!"

Brandon Jones-McGeer: United States Burn Support Organization
"I am 24 years old and for the last thirteen years I have been a burn survivor. My Aunt, her boyfriend and her brother thought it was funny to put me in a tub of hot water." The mission of the United States Burn Support Organization is to help those who have suffered minor to severe burns and their families rebuild their lives.

Christopher Fitts: About Being Normal
"The site is about my experiences and insights... this site's debut marks the 30th anniversary of being burned ... over fifty percent of my body, including my face ... I was ten years old at the time of the accident. During the last thirty years, I've lived a rather normal life, and that is what this site is about -- it's About Being Normal."

Darric Prine: Burn Survivors Support Zone
"On fathers day (06-19-06) I was burned 70% (3rd degree full thickness) of my body... The Burn Survivor Support Zone is for those who have suffered injuries due to burns but it's also for their family and friends."
